BEST INTERACTIVE, OUT-OF-THE-BOX EXPERIENCES FOR AGES 7+
Plushumi in Old Town Pasadena offers a unique plushie making workshop for kids and adults. The adorably decorated space is modest in size and best-suited for parties under 20 guests. Participants use a manually operated machine to knit their plushie, then stuff with fluff and select add-on accessories. Each resulting plushie is unique to its maker. The party staff attendants are attentive, patient, and helpful. This workshop works well for a mix of boys and girls ages 7+. Kidspace Museum is a popular pick for an indoor-outdoor birthday party. Located next to the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, Kidspace is a beloved destination for Los Angeles parents with little ones. Kidspace offers kids birthday parties on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The venue can accommodate small or large parties all the way up to 100 guests!

LOOK Cinemas has locations throughout Southern California. Our closest and favorite LOOK Cinemas location is in the middle of Old Town Monrovia on Myrtle Street. LOOK provides a full service movie theatre and dining experience. Guests can order snacks, meals, and beverages from the comfort of their reclining seat. Party hosts can pre-order food items for guests as well. Either way, LOOK makes throwing a kids birthday party easy and seamless. We love the Landmark Theatres in Pasadena's Playhouse District! This location has been recently renovated and features plush reclining seats, an upgraded lobby, and full service bar. The Santa Anita (Arcadia) location has been remodeled recently to offer new immersive games and updated party offerings. With built-in food and beverage options, Dave & Buster's provides everything needed to entertain and feed active older kids and their parents.
ALHAMBRA'S HIDDEN GEM
Happy Humble Hub (also known as H3) is Alhambra's hidden gem for party and event rentals. H3 first opened its doors mid-2024. This large space is exquisitely decorated with flowers and lights throughout. On most weekends, the space doubles as a vendor market. The venue can be rented for a variety of private events, including birthday parties. Previous hosts have utilized the space for album release parties, live musical performances, standup comedy shows, baby showers, holiday brunch parties, paint and boba events, candlemaking workshops, yoga classes, and more. Bring in your own outside food, entertainment vendors, and imagination to this unique, blank slate venue to host your custom party.
